Five reason why you need to watch this showFor six seasons, this “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off focused on the life of Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, a double board certified world-class neonatal surgeon and the absolute best in her field. It takes place in Los Angeles at a small practice called “Oceanside Wellness”, and frankly, it’s super underrated and extremely awesome. # 5. if you liked "Grey's anatomy," You'll probably like this tooNot only is this show super similar to its TV counterpart “Grey’s Anatomy”, it’s even better. Instead of having many main characters that come and go from season to season, Shonda kept the number of main characters low and made them more consistent. It gives you a chance to really connect with the characters emotionally, and learn the ins and outs of their personalities. This show also ran for only 6 seasons—Grey’s just finished airing their 11th and there’s a 12th on the way. Shonda has also managed to kill off or write out most of Grey’s original cast, and is running out of storylines due to the long 12 season run. The comparison between Grey’s and PP only solidifies the phrase “quality over quantity”. If you want to watch a show that’s as good—if not better than—Grey’s, and you want to watch it in half the time, than this show is for you. #4. Cooper, Charlotte, and Mason (+ the triplets) are family & life goalsIf there’s a character that could win “most improved”, it would definitely be Charlotte King, and the man that helped soften her angry and uptight demeanor was none other than the wonderful Cooper. They fell in love and eventually got married, and stuck together throughout the entire show. Cooper really showed Charlotte that it was okay to love and put a lot of effort into a relationship. Sure, there were a few bumps along the way—Charlotte’s rape and Cooper finding out that he had a son (Mason) are definitely issues that would result in most couples splitting up—but that wasn’t the case for these two. Cooper helped Charlotte through her traumatic episodes post attack, and she took Mason in as her own even though she never wanted to have a family, and now they’re obviously the cutest TV family ever. Charlotte proved to viewers that she is truly a “ride or die” type of woman, and when it comes to their family there’s nothing that Cooper and Charlotte won’t do to protect theirs. #CoopAndCharForever #3. tears of overwhelming sadness and joy are provided on an every episode basisWe like to refer to them as “PP Tears.” Since Shonda Rhimes is responsible for the creation of this show, we obviously had some idea that we were going to cry like little babies going in. What we didn’t know though, is that we would be crying like little babies during every.single.episode. This show makes us experience all the emotions, literally ALL of the feels. We cry with the characters when they’re facing hardships, we cry with them when they experience huge personal milestones, and then we cry when the episode ends because we want and need more. It wouldn't be called “Shondaland” if she didn’t send us on an emotional rollercoaster every time, so thank you Shonda, we appreciate it. Personally, our rollercoaster looked a bit like this. I mean come on, even the strongest characters shed #pptears #2. the Oceanside wellness squad might inspire you to become a doctorNot only does every single one of these doctors kick ass in their respective specialties, they also work together to successfully treat patients in their colleagues’ specialties. That’s a lot of badassery going on all at once in one small practice. Violet and Sheldon are two of the best psychiatrists in their field, constantly analyzing other people’s issues as well as their own. I’ve never seen a man that works better with children than Cooper, which is why he’s an excellent pediatrician. Sam is a cardiothoracic surgical titan. Naomi and Jake create miracles and get women pregnant that would’ve never gotten pregnant otherwise. Amelia Shepherd is a Shepherd, so she obviously has some talent as a neurosurgeon. Charlotte King is the chief of staff at St. Ambrose AND a sexologist at the practice, so she works two full-time jobs at once. Addison Montgomery is Addison Montgomery, and there’s more of her to follow. Seriously, these people are extremely brilliant and leave me in awe at the end of every episode. The PP gang is one of the best groups of doctors to grace our television screens in a long, long time. #1. Dr. addison forbes montgomery |

Obviously, we must start the Gossip Girl blog post with a discussion about the biggest and youngest power couple known to TV, Chuck and Blair/Blair and Chuck; “3 words, 8 letters, say it and I’m yours.” As I'm typing this I'm starting to tear up, #relationshipgoals FOR REAL. Also, check out the picture on the bottom right of their wedding, THAT RING THOUGH!
Blair and Chuck are definitely the most glamorous TV couple of all time, and they were the backbone of the show. It's basically Chuck and Blair together and nothing else really matters. We have watched the series finale a countless amount of times, their mini-wedding was impeccable (even though it was last minute) and their child is to die for. But, even periods of the show where they weren't together, Blair was the “Queen B” of Constance Billard, and Chuck Bass was Chuck Bass, so no further explanations are needed here. I mean yea, there are plenty of fish in the sea; but, only one Bass. As for Blair, she was the epitome of class and essentially flawless. Plus, she has Dorota, one of the best ride or die sidekicks out there. She was Blair's glam squad, maid, pseudo-mother, detective and more.
Since Blair was clearly our favorite, and hands down the Queen, I decided she needed her own slideshow to portray her beauty and her royalty. ALL HAIL QUEEN B!
Granted, the acting wasn't always the best, but the characters and their story lines were always entertaining. I mean, it’s hard for us regular folks to imagine what life would be like if we were teenage millionaires in New York City, so we live vicariously through the characters on Gossip Girl. It’s hard to believe that people who are that rich could actually have legitimate problems, but Gossip Girl showed us that everybody hurts. Between Nate’s dad’s drug problem and him almost becoming homeless, to Serena being a potential murderer, and Chuck’s dad “dying”, the show had us hooked on all of the dramatic twists and turns that it took every single episode. Plus, the cast overall isn't hard on the eyes.
Gossip Girl also showed us how relationships work when people from different socioeconomic status’ collide. Dan Humphrey and Serena Vanderwoodsen are prime examples. I always thought that Serena Van Der Woodsen was somewhat annoying, but Dan’s humble persona balanced her out nicely. Dan and Serena were basically a reflection of their parent’s relationship. Lily Van Der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey were together before Dan and Serena even met, and when they got together after Dan and Serena became official, things got awkward. BUT I’ll root for Lily and Rufus’ relationship over Dan and Serena’s any day.
This show was a quick watch with only 6 seasons, and it’s definitely a staple in young adult pop culture. If you don’t know who Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf are, then you should probably acquaint yourselves pretty quickly. Also, the music game in this show was so unbelievably strong, you’ll want to download the Shazam app right away and put it to good use while watching. It was a blast to watch this show, especially together, so we could laugh at and hate on the some of the characters.

First off, we must start this blog post hailing the "Queen of Fleek" aka Kate Walsh.
I mean, come on! She's absolutely gorgeous, a wonderful actress, and (judging from her instagram posts) an all-around amazing person.
Anyways, we were extremely lucky to be graced with the presence of Kate Walsh on our screens yet again (Grey's Anatomy & Private Practice), although it was for far too short of a time. The one season of Bad Judge was random yet hilarious and left us way before its time. This is the perfect show to watch mindlessly if you're looking to laugh. It was refreshing to see (especially as college students) Judge Wright, who is supposed to have her life together as a public figure, being a "normal person." From eating fast food in her chambers hungover after a long night, to tripping out on a weed brownie and having to call 911.

From eating fast food in her chambers hungover after a long night, to tripping out on a weed brownie and having to call 911.
Although she didn’t have it all together outside of the courtroom, she handled things professionally and aggressively while she was sporting her judges robes like a boss. In other words, she got shit done. She wasn’t like most judges either; she didn’t convict and sentence her “criminals” to do hard time in the slammer, but instead opted for a more creative path and sentenced them to off-the-wall methods of coping with the issues that drove them to commit the crimes in the first place. If only judges in real-life would do the same...
We also became attached to Tedward and ‘Judge Wright’ and their great friendship, along with Judy and Tom & their weird/awkward shenanigans. These other characters really rounded out the show, and added to the amount of LOLs per episode. Tedward, the bailiff/BFF, was hands down one of the funniest on the show. Any scene with the Judge and Tedward is just about guaranteed to make you chuckle.
Just look at 'em, badass and hilarious. We will miss the show dearly.

This show was just a life-changing show that I wish would never have ended.. Actually, it's more that I wish this show was my life so each character could be my best friend too. Minus Ann of course, but she’s irrelevant and only deserves this sentence for the whole post CAUSE SHE SUCKS.
Life-changing might seem a bit dramatic, but we're serious. This show has changed our lives: quotes, treating ourselves, and most importantly...

yup, that's right. susie now throws an annual galentine's day party.
It truly is the best day of the year. Just "ladies celebrating ladies" with breakfast food and alcohol. Our best gal pals come over on February 13th, and we chat and eat while always making sure to fit in the Valentine's Day episode of Parks & Rec. It's become a tradition and only gets more extravagant as the years go on. |
Moving on though, it's hard to even try to put into words how amazing this show is. It is definitely the most important to the three of us, since it's the first show we all watched together. From binge watching on Netflix to tuning into NBC every week, Parks and Recreation was magical in the sense that we all felt connected to the characters; each one is our spirit animals in a unique way. BUT, like I said before, this show is nearly impossible to talk about. So, without further ado, our favorite moments in pics & gifs.
We will love you and like you forever Parks and Recreation.

THE BEST TV RELATIONSHIP OF ALL TIME...
Oh, Pam and Jim. The ultimate #relationshipgoals from beginning to (mostly) the end. Seriously, if our future husbands' get any advice from us, it's to watch this show and copy Jim. Happy wife, happy life, right?
Besides the amazing couple, this show is HILARIOUS. Definitely one of the funniest shows to ever grace our TV screen. I don't remember one episode where I didn't laugh out loud, and I mean that literally, laughing out loud until my stomach starts to cramp up. And the best thing about this show, is that it was funny throughout every season! Yes, it was a bit odd/uncomfortable after Michael left the show. He was one of the funniest and most ignorant characters ever. But once Robert California became the manager, things were more normal and equally hilarious. Of course, there are the smaller roles like Creed or Ryan that we don't like as much, but the show wouldn't be the same without them. It's the weirdest and most hilarious mixture of people you'll ever watch.

Oh, Wisteria Lane. How I long to live on your perfectly groomed street, with your perfect housewives.. Minus Susan Delfino. Living on a lovely street, just a couple of yards away from your BFFs would be amazing. Plus, there is the ultimate "mom goal" as a mix of Bree Van de Kamp and Lynette Scavo. If only Bree were lucky enough to find a man like Tom Scavo, the funniest and cutest dad around. Of course, hottest Dad award goes to Mike Delfino, but he sucks by association (you can thank your stupid wife, Susan/Teri Hatcher). The main reason we love this show so much is because in reality, we all aspire to live their lives. Even their husbands are BFFs! Of course, take out all the messed up shit they deal with and the creepy neighbors that will never belong in the house of Mary Alice. #squadgoals | Most hated character goes to ^this^ hottie's wife, Susan. With a close trail of contestants: Orson, Julie, the Applewhite family, pyscho Dave and Renee. Best character (besides the main characters, of course) goes to Karen McClusky. She is followed by Tom, Carlos, and sometimes Andrew. |
